App guide
GLOBE Observer
Children select a protocol, observe clouds, mosquito habitat, land cover, or trees, answer guided questions, and submit environmental data; the Trees workflow includes photographing a tree and estimating its height. GLOBE states that submitted observations are available for others to view and explore, and that data can help interpret satellite data. These are official descriptions.
